For me, that purpose became deeply personal. It all started with my daughter. In the midst of postpartum depression, I was searching for something - anything - that could bring a little light back into my days. Candle-making began as a small creative outlet, a hobby that sparked joy during a season when joy felt hard to find. But as I learned more about the toxins hidden in so many everyday products, that spark grew into a mission: to remove the harmful, unnecessary chemicals from our home and replace them with clean, natural alternatives I felt proud to use around her.

What began as a mother’s desire to create a safer world for her child has blossomed into The Gilded Hive; a celebration of nature, craftsmanship, and the beauty of living more intentionally.
